Bugs and mosquitoes in Buxton in April?
I’m considering staying in some cottages near Buxton and I’m curious about the bug and mosquito situation in April, especially since the weather can still be quite chilly. I tend to attract mosquitoes, so I’d like to be prepared. Thanks!
April in Buxton can be quite chilly, but as the weather warms up, you may encounter some bugs, including mosquitoes. However, they’re generally not at their peak during this time. Since it’s still cooler, you might find that bug activity is relatively low. That said, it’s always good to be prepared, especially if you’re prone to bites.
Consider bringing some insect repellent, wearing long sleeves during the evenings, and possibly keeping your accommodations well-screened or closed. Enjoy your stay in Buxton!
