Business trip in Wales

Business Trip to Wales
Hello everyone,
Next week, I’ll be heading to Wales for a business trip (a small town about 30 minutes from Cardiff). I have a couple of questions:
-
Is cash necessary for my trip?
-
I’m traveling on April 1st with my EU passport and staying for a few days. Since the ETA requirement starts on April 2nd, will I need to secure an ETA?
Thanks so much for your help!
Hi there!
I can help with your questions:
Cash: While many places in the UK accept credit and debit cards, it’s always a good idea to have a small amount of cash on hand for smaller shops, markets, or if you go somewhere that might not accept cards. ATMs are widely available though, so you can easily withdraw cash if needed.
ETA Requirement: Since you’re traveling on 1 April with an EU passport, you won’t need an ETA for your trip. The ETA requirement will only apply to travelers arriving after 2 April. However, make sure to have your passport and any relevant travel documents ready for your trip.
Have a great time in Wales and safe travels!
