Anything like wistman’s or puzzle woods along this route?

Are there any woodlands similar to Wistman’s Wood or Puzzle Wood along my route? My husband and I have just a few days for our trip from Bath to York. If anyone has recommendations for woods like those while traveling along the A429 or M1, I’d love to hear them!
