  1. That sounds like a wonderful trip! Given your interests, I’d recommend heading south to Pembrokeshire on Day 4. Here’s a suggested itinerary:

    Day 4: Pembrokeshire

    • Morning: After checking out, head to St. Davids, the UK’s smallest city. Visit St. Davids Cathedral and explore the quaint streets.
    • Afternoon: Take a walk along the stunning Pembrokeshire Coast Path. You can choose a section to hike (like the stretch from St. Davids to Abereiddy) for beautiful coastal views and possibly spot some wildlife.
    • Evening: Enjoy a nice dinner in St. Davids or Fishguard. There are several nice restaurants with local cuisine options.

    Day 5: Explore Pembrokeshire

    • Morning: Visit Pembroke Castle, a fantastic historic site where you can delve into Welsh history.
    • Afternoon: Head to Barafundle Bay for some beach time. It’s a secluded and picturesque beach, perfect for a relaxing day. If you’re up for more walking, try the trail that leads to it.
    • Evening: Stay overnight in a nearby town, such as Tenby, which is famous for its beautiful beaches and vibrant harbor.

Day 6: Journey to Southern England

    • Start your journey towards Southern England. Depending on your route, you might stop at Carew Castle or Manorbier Castle for a final taste of Welsh history before crossing the border.

Going south allows you to explore more of Pembrokeshire’s stunning coastline, charming villages, and historical sites without missing out on the natural beauty you’re looking for. Plus, it complements your initial itinerary nicely before heading to Southern England. Enjoy your trip!
