Help with itinerary

Assistance Needed for Itinerary Planning
Hello! My wife, child, and I are heading to the UK in April. We’ll spend about 11 days in London and its nearby areas before heading to the Inverness region for 3 days, followed by 4 days on the Isle of Skye. After that, we have 12 days to make our way back to Heathrow.
What would you recommend as an itinerary after our time in Skye? We will have a car to get around.
Here are a few routes we’ve considered departing from Skye:
- Outer Hebrides -> Oban -> Loch Lomond -> Edinburgh
- Oban -> Loch Lomond -> Edinburgh -> Lake District
- Any other suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help!
EDIT: Just to clarify, during our stay in Inverness, we’ll also be visiting family and planning a couple of day trips from there before moving on.
