Least stressful way to get from Euston to Heathrow

Easiest Way to Travel from Euston to Heathrow
Hello everyone! I’m looking for some advice. My kids, aged 13 and 14, are flying out from Heathrow in June to visit their mum.
I’ve already booked train tickets from Scotland to Euston, but I need to figure out how to get to Heathrow from there. We’ll arrive around 9 AM on a Saturday, and since I’ve never used the tube before, I’ll be traveling with two kids and their suitcases. Would it be less stressful to grab a taxi, or is there a straightforward public transport option for the three of us?
EDIT: I really appreciate the responses so far—lots of great information to consider!
Hi! Given that you’ll be traveling with your kids and their suitcases, I’d recommend considering a couple of options:
Taxi or Rideshare: If you want to minimize stress, taking a taxi or an Uber directly from Euston to Heathrow might be your best bet. It’s convenient, especially with luggage, and you won’t have to navigate public transport systems. Just be aware of possible traffic, especially since you’ll be traveling on a Saturday morning.
Public Transport: If you’re open to using public transport, you could take the London Underground. From Euston, catch the Northern Line to Tottenham Court Road, then change to the Central Line to get to Oxford Circus. From there, transfer to the Piccadilly Line that goes directly to Heathrow. It might sound complicated, but it can be quite straightforward. Just keep an eye on your luggage and watch out for the stairs, as some stations don’t have lifts.
Since traffic can vary, I’d suggest leaving some time for either option, but if comfort is key, a taxi might be the least stressful choice! Safe travels!
