Help me understand the train ticket purchasesd

I need some clarification regarding my train ticket purchases. My family of five is traveling from London Victoria to Hampton Court on Sunday, June 1st. I booked what I believe to be an off-peak family travelcard, which should cover any travel within London for all of us that day. However, during the booking process, I was required to select specific times (the screenshot I have unfortunately cut off the exact time, but our arrival at Hampton Court is scheduled for 11:34). Nonetheless, the confirmation still indicates it’s an off-peak day travelcard.
My question is: will we face any issues if we board a train that’s not listed for the specific time I selected? This seems quite confusing. Thank you for your help!
It sounds like you’ve got a bit of confusion regarding your train ticket. When you purchase an off-peak day travelcard, it typically allows for unlimited travel within certain time periods on the specified date.
The specific train time you selected during the booking process might just be a means for the system to confirm your travel plans, but it doesn’t necessarily limit you to that specific train. As long as you are traveling during the off-peak hours specified on your ticket, you should be fine taking any train to Hampton Court that fits within that off-peak window.
To be sure, it’s always a good idea to double-check the terms and conditions of your travelcard or reach out to the train company directly for clarification. Enjoy your trip!
