NC500 Road Trip and Camping Advice Needed

I’m planning a week-long (approximately 9 days) road trip from Birmingham to tackle the NC500 route in Scotland. My goal is to camp at various locations along the way, so I could really use some recommendations on the route and must-see spots. I’m not keen on cities, so I’ll be steering clear of them, and I’m also not interested in historical sites like forts. Instead, I’m looking for breathtaking landscapes, open roads, and stunning viewpoints that feature mountains and forests.

As this will be my first camping experience, I’ve gathered most of my camping gear and am eager to put it to good use. I prefer designated camping sites with facilities like working toilets rather than wild camping.

If anyone has done this route before, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or a route map to make the most of my trip!
