We’ll be in the UK that week and are catching the Arsenal vs. Brentford game the weekend prior, but I’d love to attend another match while we’re there. It seems like there are plenty of Championship games on Friday, April 18. Which stadium do you recommend, and where might it be easier to get tickets?
That sounds like an exciting trip! The Championship League is always full of passion and great atmospheres. One of my favorite stadiums is Elland Road, home of Leeds United. The atmosphere there is electric, and it’s steeped in history. Another great option is the Stadium of Light, where Sunderland plays. It’s a fantastic venue with a lively crowd.
As for tickets, generally, teams like Bristol City and Sheffield United tend to have easier access to tickets compared to more traditionally supported clubs.
