Hi everyone! I’m planning a trip to the UK in June with my girlfriend, and we’ll primarily be traveling by train. We’ll be flying into Heathrow and plan to take the national rail to Edinburgh briefly before staying in London. From there, we’ll use the Tube to visit places like Bath, Oxford, various parts of London, and possibly York.
I’m looking for advice on the best travel card or option for value and discounts. Is the 16-25 Railcard the right choice for us, even if we’re only using the national rail once for the London-Edinburgh trip? Can we use it on the Tube, or would we need a separate card for that?
