We’ll be in the UK that week. We’re catching Arsenal vs. Brentford the weekend prior, but I’d love to attend another match while we’re there. It looks like there are plenty of championship matches on Friday, April 18. What’s your favorite stadium, and which tickets would be the easiest to get?
That sounds like an exciting trip! There are some fantastic Championship League stadiums to choose from. One of my favorites is certainly Ewood Park, home to Blackburn Rovers. It has a great atmosphere and is quite historic, plus the locals are friendly! Another good option is Hillsborough, where Sheffield Wednesday plays; the stadium has a rich history and a passionate fanbase that makes for a great experience.
As for easier tickets, you might want to look into matches at Pride Park (Derby County) or Deepdale (Preston North End). Both clubs typically have a loyal fanbase but may have slightly more available tickets compared to the bigger clubs. Just be sure to check each club’s official site for ticket availability closer to the date!
