ETA Requirements for EU Citizens Transiting Through the UK After April 2

I will be flying from Ireland to Italy after April 2 and have a 2-hour layover at London Luton Airport. As I hold an Italian passport, do I need to apply for an ETA?

  1. Yes, as an EU citizen traveling through the UK after April 2, you will need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to transit through UK airports, including London Luton. Even though you hold an Italian passport, the new regulations require all EU citizens to obtain an ETA for transit purposes. Make sure to apply for it in advance of your travel date to ensure a smooth transit. Safe travels!
