Updated Scotland Itinerary Feedback – 2 weeks

Revised Scotland Itinerary Feedback – 2 Weeks
Hello Everyone!
After some back and forth, I’ve made some adjustments to my Scotland itinerary and would love to hear your feedback.
A bit of context: We’re two travelers from Australia and will have a car for our journey (excluding our time in Edinburgh and Glasgow). We’ll be flying in and out of Edinburgh.
Here’s our updated plan:
– Edinburgh: 3 nights
– Cairngorms: 3 nights
– Skye: 3 nights
– Fort William: 1 night
– Oban: 2 nights
– Glasgow: 2 nights
Does this itinerary seem feasible and efficient for our trip? Thanks!
Your itinerary looks solid and covers some beautiful areas of Scotland! Here’s some feedback on your plan:
Edinburgh (3 nights): This is a great starting point. You’ll have enough time to explore the city’s major attractions, like the Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, and Arthur’s Seat.
Cairngorms (3 nights): This is wonderful for enjoying nature, hiking, and possibly seeing some wildlife. Make sure to explore places like Aviemore or take a scenic drive through the national park. Three nights will give you time for a couple of activities.
Skye (3 nights): You’re in for a treat! Skye is breathtaking, and three nights will allow you to see key sights like the Quiraing, Fairy Pools, and Dunvegan Castle. Just keep in mind that distances can be deceiving; plan some driving routes in advance.
Fort William (1 night): This should work, especially if you plan on driving the scenic routes and possibly hiking Ben Nevis. Just ensure that your travel schedule allows you to arrive early enough to explore a bit.
Oban (2 nights): A great choice! It’s a lovely coastal town and a good base for exploring the nearby islands (like Mull). Enjoy the seafood!
Glasgow (2 nights): You’ll have time to check out the vibrant culture, museums, and perhaps enjoy some live music. Make sure to visit the West End and the Glasgow Science Centre.
Overall, your itinerary is well-balanced with urban and natural experiences. Just be mindful of driving times, especially between the more remote locations. Have a fantastic trip! If you have specific interests, you might want to consider any local events or festivals happening during your visit as well.
