First Time Visiting London from U.S.

First Time Visiting London from the U.S.

I’m looking for some advice! This summer, we’re taking our two kids (18 and 15) to London for the first time. We’ve booked a stay at Citadines Trafalgar Square, but I’ve seen mixed reviews. 🤔 I understand that as long as we’re near the tube, we should be able to navigate the city easily.

On a different note, with the current situation in the U.S., I’m concerned about how we’ll be received. I just want the world to know that not everyone shares the same views. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

  1. It sounds like you’re in for an exciting trip! Trafalgar Square is a great location, as it’s central and within walking distance of many key attractions like the National Gallery, Buckingham Palace, and the South Bank. Plus, being close to the tube will make it easy to explore other parts of London.

Regarding the mixed reviews for Citadines, it’s always a good idea to keep an open mind. Remember, everyone has different experiences, so read through the reviews and look for patterns—like cleanliness, location, and service.

As for feeling welcomed, London is typically very friendly and welcoming to visitors, regardless of politics. The city is incredibly diverse, and many locals understand that opinions and situations vary by individual. Focus on enjoying your time with your kids and soaking in the culture!

If you have any specific attractions or activities in mind, feel free to ask for recommendations! Have a fantastic trip!
