Football Stadium Tours
I’ll be spending a week in London before the London Marathon, and I’m excited to explore some football stadiums while I’m there! I’ve already booked a tour at Stamford Bridge, but since I don’t have a favorite team, I’m looking for advice on which tour would be better between Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Emirates Stadium. Are there any other stadium tours in London that you would recommend? Thanks!

  1. That sounds like a great way to spend your week in London! Both Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and Emirates Stadium offer amazing tours, and each has its own unique features.

Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is relatively new and boasts some impressive facilities, including a retractable pitch and one of the largest single-tier stands in Europe. The tour provides insights into the club’s history, as well as the innovative design of the stadium. There’s also a museum on-site that showcases the club’s achievements.

Emirates Stadium, home to Arsenal, is known for its striking architecture and rich history. The tour includes a visit to the changing rooms, the pitchside, and you can even stand in the dugout. Arsenal’s club history museum is also a highlight, showcasing memorabilia and trophies.

If you have the time, consider adding London Stadium (home of West Ham United) to your list. It’s a unique venue that was used for the 2012 Olympics and has since been transformed for football.

Another option is Wembley Stadium, which, while not a club stadium, is iconic and offers a fantastic tour covering its history and significance in football.

Ultimately, you can’t go wrong with either Tottenham or Emirates, but if you’re looking for a more modern experience, Spurs might edge it out. Enjoy your trip and the marathon!
