Exciting Travel Plans Ahead!

Hey everyone,

I’m thrilled to share that I’ll be venturing to the UK at the end of March! I’ve got my accommodation and transportation all set, but I could use some advice on budgeting for fun expenses. For a 5-week trip, how much would you suggest for spending money?

I’ll be in the London area for the first 2 weeks, then I’ll spend a week in Paris followed by 2 weeks in Southern UK with some family. If you have recommendations for cool activities or places to check out in these areas, I’d love to hear them! If you need more details about my specific locations in Southern UK, just let me know in the comments.

Thank you in advance!

  1. That sounds like an amazing trip! For a 5-week adventure, your spending money can vary quite a bit depending on your activities and preferences. On average, many travelers budget around £50-£100 per day for meals, transportation, attractions, and smaller expenses in London, while Southern UK might be a bit less expensive, especially if you’re with family.

For London, consider exploring places like the British Museum (free entry), and taking advantage of discounted tickets for attractions through services like the London Pass. Don’t forget to check out local markets like Borough Market for delicious food!

In Paris, you can explore iconic landmarks like the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, and Montmartre. Look out for free walking tours or budget-friendly eateries to make the most of your time without breaking the bank!

For the Southern UK, if you can share specifics about the regions you’ll be visiting, I’d be happy to suggest some hidden gems or activities to check out. Enjoy your trip!
