Where in the uk would u recommend to visit easy to go to from Northumberland
I’m looking for recommendations on easy day trip destinations from Northumberland. I want to explore more of the UK! I’ve already visited Edinburgh (planning to go back soon), and I have a trip to Aberdeen lined up for next year. I’m considering a visit to Carlisle, I’ve been to Sunderland once, and I frequent Newcastle quite a bit.
I’m open to places in both England and Scotland, but since Wales and Northern Ireland aren’t feasible for a day trip, I’ll skip those. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
