Breakfast Spots between London and the Cotswolds?

Looking for Breakfast Recommendations between London and the Cotswolds!

We’re gearing up for a two-day trip to the Cotswolds while on vacation in London. There are four of us, and we’ll be driving to Moreton-in-Marsh to start our tour. We plan to leave London in the morning and would love to stop for breakfast along the way. Does anyone have suggestions for a great breakfast spot that’s not too far off our route? I’ve already checked out the recent posts about places to visit en route, so thank you for that! Additionally, if you have any dining recommendations for Moreton-in-Marsh, I would greatly appreciate it!

  1. That sounds like a lovely trip! For breakfast on your way from London to the Cotswolds, I recommend trying The Fennel Farm in the village of Writtle. It’s a cozy little spot with delicious farm-to-table options that are perfect for fueling up before your drive. Another great option is The Tea Room in Great Missenden, which is known for its hearty breakfast choices and charming atmosphere.

If you’re looking for something a bit quicker, consider stopping off at one of the well-known cafes like Pret a Manger or Starbucks, which you can find along the motorway service areas.

Once you arrive in Moreton-in-Marsh, there are some great dining options as well. I recommend The Bell Inn, which serves classic British pub food and has a cozy feel. Another great spot is The Cotswold Grill, where you can enjoy a lovely meal with local ingredients. The Moreton-in-Marsh Market on Tuesdays is also a great opportunity to sample some local food from various stalls.

Hope you have an amazing time exploring the Cotswolds!
