Eastbourne. 4 days 3 nights next week. What do I need to know? Eats? Public transport? Curfew?

I’m heading to Eastbourne for 4 days and 3 nights next week, and I’m looking for some tips.
I’ll be staying near the seaside, about 10 minutes from the south of the station. I’m excited to explore, especially since I have one restaurant in mind already.
I plan to take long beach walks during the day, possibly solo, and might spend some time with a companion on other days. Here are a few things I’d love to know:
- What are some good dining options?
- Are there any must-do bus trips? I’m interested in the sightseeing bus—I’ve heard it’s £1, but how much for multiple stops? I’d like to check out Holywell and maybe a few other spots if it’s affordable.
- Is candy floss and donuts available anywhere? Where should I look?
- What can I expect to find on the pier?
Thanks for your help!
