Best Premier Inn for staying in London?

Best Premier Inn for a Stay in London?
My partner and I are planning a trip to London from April 16-18, just before Easter weekend. We’ll be arriving from Cardiff, likely by train.
Here’s what we’re looking for in a hotel:
- A safe neighborhood, with public transit nearby that also feels secure.
- Convenient access to major attractions, such as the British Museum, Buckingham Palace, the West End (we’re hoping to see either Hamilton or Curse Child), Trafalgar Square, and possibly the Tower of London or an Uber boat to Borough Market. It would be great if it’s easy to get to from our train arrival in Cardiff too.
- A pleasant area for evening strolls, so we can return comfortably via public transport or walking after our evening plans.
Thanks in advance for your help!
P.S. I’m open to other hotel suggestions, but from my research, Premier Inns seem to offer the best balance of budget and quality.
Hi there! It sounds like you have an exciting trip planned! Here are a few Premier Inn options that might fit your criteria perfectly:
Premier Inn London County Hall: This location is right next to the London Eye and offers easy access to major attractions like the British Museum, Trafalgar Square, and Buckingham Palace. The area is very safe and well-lit at night, especially after enjoying a show in the West End. Plus, it’s conveniently located near Waterloo Station for easy access from Cardiff.
Premier Inn London Kensington (Earl’s Court): This hotel is located in a quieter and safe neighborhood, with good transport links to central London. You can easily reach attractions like the British Museum and Buckingham Palace via the Tube. The area also has lovely cafes and shops, perfect for evening strolls.
Premier Inn London Leicester Square: This option puts you right in the heart of the West End, making it ideal for catching shows like Hamilton or Curse Child. You’ll be surrounded by lively nightlife, restaurants, and shops, with a safe atmosphere for evening walks. It might be a bit more bustling, but you can’t beat the convenience!
As for alternative accommodations, consider looking at Travelodge or Ibis Hotels, which also offer good locations and prices. Just make sure to read recent reviews for the latest safety updates and cleanliness standards.
Whichever you choose, London has an excellent public transport system, so getting around should be straightforward and safe. Enjoy your trip!
