First Time Traveler

Hello! My best friend invited my daughter and me to join her on a trip to the UK! Naturally, I jumped at the chance! The UK has been on my travel bucket list for ages, and my daughter is equally excited. We’re set to travel over the 4th of July weekend and will likely spend most of our time in the London area, though my daughter and I might venture out to explore other regions as well.

What’s the weather like in July? What are the must-see attractions? My daughter has already started her list, including the usual sights like the palaces, Westminster Abbey, and the Tower of London, but she’s also interested in visiting various museums.

I’d love any suggestions on things we shouldn’t miss, along with tips about the weather, budget (I have a Revolut card), and the best food spots or markets. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

EDIT: Thanks to everyone for their helpful suggestions! Just to clarify, my daughter is 14 years old. We’re big fans of Call the Midwife and Coronation Street. Are there any tours available related to those shows or the areas they are set in? Also, we haven’t seen Harry Potter yet!
