Is it too late to book a summer trip?

Subject: Is It Too Late to Plan a Summer Trip?
Hi everyone! I’m from the US and haven’t had much international travel experience as an adult. My husband and I are considering a trip to England this June (8th-17th). Is it too late to book flights and accommodations? Should we consider postponing to next summer instead?
We’re excited about a garden-themed trip where we explore a different garden each day and enjoy dinner nearby in the evenings. We’re not interested in typical tourist spots, but rather focusing on beautiful gardens. Our itinerary includes London (Kew Gardens, Wisley, and Chelsea Physic Garden), Kent (Sissinghurst Castle and Great Dixter), and areas around Oxfordshire (Hidcote and Rousham).
I would really appreciate any advice or insights you may have. Thank you!
It’s definitely not too late to book your trip for June! While it’s ideal to book flights and accommodations a few months in advance, many options should still be available, especially if you are flexible with your travel times. You might want to check for flights soon, as prices can fluctuate and may increase as the date approaches.
When it comes to hotels or accommodations, consider looking at those that might offer free cancellation, giving you some peace of mind as you plan. Since your trip revolves around gardens and dining nearby, it might also be a good idea to make reservations at popular restaurants ahead of time, especially during peak season.
To maximize your experience, you might want to look into any local garden events or exhibitions happening during your visit. And don’t forget to account for travel time between locations! Enjoy planning your trip – it sounds lovely!
