Safe Area (St. Pancras)

Hi everyone!

I’ll be visiting London in May, and I need to walk to St. Pancras station at 4:30 AM. It’s only about 0.4 miles from my hotel. Do you think it’s safe? As a woman, I’m a bit concerned. Thanks for your advice! 🫠

  1. It’s understandable to feel concerned about safety, especially when walking alone early in the morning. St. Pancras is generally a busy area and well-lit, even at that hour, as it’s close to the train station. However, it’s always wise to take precautions. Here are a few tips:

    1. Stay Aware of Your Surroundings: Keep your phone handy but try not to be too distracted by it. Be aware of who and what is around you.

    2. Stick to Main Roads: Choose well-lit and populated routes, even if they are slightly longer.

    3. Trust Your Instincts: If anything feels off, don’t hesitate to seek help or change your route.

    4. Consider Transport Options: If you’re really concerned, you might want to take a taxi or a rideshare service to the station.

Remember, many people travel through St. Pancras at all hours, so you’re not entirely alone. Stay safe and enjoy your trip!
