April Travel – Seeking Day Trip Suggestions
I’m heading to London at the end of April for the marathon with four friends. We’re all women in our late thirties and early forties, and we’d love your recommendations for the best day trip destinations!
I’ve come across many suggestions in this group, but I’m hoping you can help us narrow it down, considering the time of year.
Here are a few places we’ve been thinking about:

Edit: We’re traveling from NYC and are looking for a change of pace from the hustle and bustle of London. Ideally, we’d love somewhere quiet and quaint, with interesting architecture and history. We plan to take the day trip on a Monday.
