Visiting in June, what to do outside of London?

Exploring Beyond London in June!

Hi everyone! I’m planning a two-week trip with a couple of friends, spending 5-7 days in London. After that, we’ll head north to visit family in Birmingham for a few days, and we might even venture as far as York before making our way back.

While I have plenty of ideas for London, I’m a bit stumped on what to see during our journey north. I’d love your recommendations! Whether they’re historical sites or contemporary attractions, what are the must-see spots along the way?

Also, just a heads up, I’ll have a car for the trip. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!
