4 day trip in UK without car

4-Day UK Trip Without a Car
Hello! I’m from the Warwick area and I’m planning a trip with my partner for the Good Friday weekend, from April 18th to 21st, 2025. Since we’ve already explored Edinburgh, we’re looking for new destinations. We won’t have a car and don’t drive, so we’ll need to rely on public transport and Uber. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
That sounds like a lovely trip! Here are a couple of options that you can consider for your 4-day getaway:
Option 1: Bath & Bristol
Day 1: Bath
– Take a train from Warwick to Bath (approximately 1.5-2 hours).
– Visit the Roman Baths, Bath Abbey, and explore the beautiful Georgian architecture.
– Enjoy a soak at the Thermae Bath Spa in the evening.
Day 2: Bath to Bristol
– Take a short train ride (around 15 minutes) to Bristol.
– Visit the vibrant Harbourside area, where you can find restaurants and shops.

– Visit the SS Great Britain and learn about maritime history.
– Enjoy a meal at one of Bristol’s many eateries, and take a walk through the historic St Nicholas Market.
Day 4: Return to Warwick
– Spend your final morning in Bristol, perhaps visiting a local café or shop before catching your train back to Warwick.
Option 2: Cardiff & the Brecon Beacons
Day 1: Cardiff

– Visit Cardiff Castle and explore Bute Park.
– Enjoy shopping or dining at Cardiff’s vibrant city center.
